Chris was the real estate agent who helped my wife and me purchase our first home in San Diego. My wife and I were in a big hurray to sell our home. A friend of ours referred us to Chris. Chris contacted us immediately, and came over that same night to get my home listed. We went over the paperwork thoroughly so there would be no misunderstandings. He was professional and very thorough. He was able to get our home sold quickly. However, that is not even the end of the story. The people who bought our home were the most disgusting, crude, unethical pair of liars that I had ever run across in my entire life! These buyers were so rude, their own agent was ready to walk… and that never happens! This setback did not deter Chris. Once we accepted the offer, Chris dealt with these “people” in an unbelievably professional manner. At times I wanted to walk from the transaction but Chris assured me over and over again that he could handle the abuse, and he did so with flying colors. Demand after demand by the seller was met with Chris’s ability to negotiate and settle disputes without anger or cross words. It was a treat to watch a true professional at his craft. One time I happened to be on the other end of a particularly harsh tirade the buyers were putting Chris through…swearing at him, calling him names, threatening him, etc… And he was calm as if he were talking to a small child. Eventually everything settled, and Chris guided us through the escrow process, which went without a hitch. I have never seen a real estate agent work harder for a fee for service and I doubt I ever will. I only have one real estate agent and his name is Chris Ellis. Toby Creighton
